Beautifully-crafted carbon-reinforced Valenta 4.2m moulded ASW20 glider with electric flight assist. Only flown it four times, but my poor ageing back now has trouble handling and launching it and has cried ‘enough’. Time to focus on smaller lighter models!

The model is in excellent condition, using high-quality wide-voltage digital servos; ailerons and flaps (KST X10) plus top spoilers (Bluebird BMS-115WV), with elevator (MKS HV6100) and rudder (Bluebird BMS-390V). Motor is Hacker A40-10L-Glider with extension shaft and bearing, turning a 16 x 8 Aeronaut folding prop using 4S 4250mAh lipo and ZTW 65A ESC, backed up with a 2S 4000mAh flight battery. Plenty of power for ‘get out of jail free’ on the slope. Wing retention using Multiplex multi-lock pins. It currently has a Futaba 7008SB receiver and a SB decoder that can be included if required.
