If your Futaba transmitter has a 6-pin square trainer socket on the back, this USB adaptor allows you to connect the transmitter to your computer to control simulators like AeroFlyRC 10.

Strangely, the 2.5mm socket in the USB dongle was too stiff to use straight out of the box, but fortunately they also provide a little signal amplifier board that plugs into the USB dongle via a servo plug, and this works just fine.

Also, the cable they provided seemed to have a break somewhere along it which made the connection intermittent. I had another similar audio cable handy so many up my own cable, hence the heat shrink part way along the cable.
