Martin Mars (Hawaii Mars)
span 305cm, length 180cm, weight (all-up) 11.6kg
It’s been uprated from the original power plants to 4-Max PO-3537-960 motors (with appropriate ESC’s and cooling fans), and powered by 2x 4S 5000mAh 50C Overlander lipo’s.
Built from Ivan Pettigrew plans, originally constructed circa 2020, rebuilt and outfitted with more powerful motors, esc’s 2023
Original plans included in the sale, along with one pair of batteries and a new boxed motor.
Wing breaks down into 3 sections, and the tail is designed to bolt on/off but i’ve never had need to do this.
More info on request if required. I live quite far north in the Scottish Highlands so would be willing to meet part way for fuel costs.
Open to an exchange for a large rotary engine model, glow or petrol.
Selling because I don’t get to fly it much even though I live next to a loch (Loch Shin), and tbh when the conditions are perfect to fly the conditions are also perfect for midges!
