This engine has recently been removed from a large sports scale aerobat, where it performed beautifully – starting first time, every time after a couple of choked flicks – running on Optifuel 12%.

The engine has some oil staining courtesy of a leaking exhaust in the previous installation and there is a little discolouration due to age.

The silencer is the dual outlet BCM (?) in cowl scale type with two exhaust outlets.
The one in use exits downwards when the engine is mounted on its side.
The muffler is held onto the exhaust stack via a “Jubilee” type clamp which works well when used with an exhaust gasket

The carburettor is a conventional two needle type which responds well to adjustment.
It is marked as an “SC” carb – ASP & SC were made in the same factory.

The engine can be posted at buyer’s cost, with Royal Mail 48 hours tracked being the service used – £3.45
Local meet up or collection is possible
