“NEW INFORMATION! I am relisting this model for sale after June 8th when I will be flying it at an event, apologies to those interested parties that have already made enquiries! “I have decided to sell my much loved and admired Flair Tiger Moth which I built 12 years ago. I have recently got into turbines and am just not flying it that much, plus I need the space. Built with all the correct closed loop control systems which have always worked flawlessly. Has a very detailed pilot (with scarf) and working doors which are held shut by magnets.
It is in the colours of the WW2 trainer which is currently part of the Old Warden fleet, finished as it would have looked originally with some mild weathering . It is built well and light, has no warps, never been crashed and is easy to assemble. Easily fits in an estate car. 4ch Spektrum receiver with sale if required.
The Laser engine has been 100% reliable, I installed airflow baffles in the cowl and it looks brand new still, always run on the correct Laser Brew fuel to avoid carbon build ups, and usually flown on minimal throttle with the odd high power boost for loops and stall turns. It has a remote glow attachment for ease of operation and swings an 18” propellor which is scale size.
