This 55 has been run-in on my test stand using the greatest possible care and following the OS instructions to the letter.
I use 80:20 castor ‘straight’ for the first tank of fuel. I then move on to the likely flying blend which for me is Model Technics ‘Supaglo’ (16% klotz+4% castor). That was then but as my tastes change I find I don’t really have a kit on the horizon for it after all.
Off to the best start in life and a very worthwhile saving for this 55. You probably already know it shares the same install dimensions as an OS 46 or 40. Always nice to have reserves of performance.
