£2,500.00
Vario MD902 with the notar tail, so a fan drives air down ducting in the boom and yaw control is from a servo operated ducting in the rear of the heli.
Originally build by Vario in Belgium, hence the Belgium police colours. I was planning to repaint in the London air ambulance colours, but a looming house move means my hanger space is reducing, hence the sale.
A bit more about the model – full scale details in the cockpit, with pilot. Working nav lighting and spot lights. Other scale details (e.g. static hoist) are also part of the sale.
Electronics include full Macgregor digital servos on cyclic (*4) and tail / yaw. Kontronic 200amp esc for the main rotor (five blade head inc blades), 120amp Jive esc for the 90mm EDF fan pushing the air for the tail authority. The FBL unit is a Vbar silver line with a vsat.
The 90mm fan is a well known conversion to make the tail more efficient alongside taking the load off the main rotor. The model originally had additional ducting and a metal fan bolted on the bottom of the main shaft to push air down the boom. The ducting and metal fan are also part of the sale if you choose to return to original condition.
Also included are three pairs of main flight packs (Gens Ace 10,000 6s) which are old so may not be up to much.
Any questions, do let me know. Model can be transported in an estate car type size vehicle. Collection only please, or I can take to Weston Friday and Saturday only. Open to offers.
