All but giving up the hobby due to ill health. Next to go is a very regrettable sale of my WIllow F3F, which i haven’t even flown. I purchawed this used a few years ago. It had been crashed, which snappped off the nose at the front of the canopy. It had been badly repaired (the nose wasn’t straight, and far too much weight was added). It flew well, but i couldn’t live with poor repair. I’ve stripped out the bad repair, got down to orgininal glider material and repaired it properly using layers of kevlar and carbon, and set in a jig. The nose is now striaght and the repair adds very little weight to the model. it’s now stronger than the original model. I also fabricated a tail cone, because i hated the open rear of the fuse. I’ve refinished the fuse and it looks like new. Both wings have had the roots tidied and refinished. Whomever built the model did a terrible job of cutting holes for wiring. Hence my decision to refinish. Finally, one wing tip was looking a little unsightly so a local touch up has been completed. When i got the model the tails didn’t match the wings. The tails have been replaced with new matching tails. The model will come with the spare tails. The model is fitted with KDS servos throughout. The model now looks as it should. I was looking forward to flying it, because they are supposed to be excellent fliers, but i’ve been too ill to do so. i strongly recommend viewing/collecting in person, so the model can be inspected prior to purchase. £550.00 FIRM NO OFFERS PLEASE
