MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN NOW FOR OUR THRIVING CLUB FROM RESPONSIBLE & SAFE FLYERS

We have a superb open aspect, quiet and well maintained 30m x 80m runway with easy to access from Oldham or Jn 21 of the M62. The field is available for flying 365 days a year.

New members who are polite, sensible and who “put safety first” are welcome to apply by email to the Chairman at jdgl@ad-manum.co.uk.

Club fees are £85 for the year but junior membership (under 18) is free. BMFA membership & CAA registration is compulsory and can be organised for new members if required.

We fly all disciplines, (including drones), with electric, ic and silent flight models all welcome. To fly solo, pilots are required to have a BMFA BPC or A test (or higher) in any discipline. Our more experienced members are happy to tutor new members to A Test standard and we have our own BMFA examiner. We accept requests to have a few trial flights – just contact the Chairman

The club has an extensive fixed wing fleet of trainers including the Hobby King Tundra, Multiplex Mentor, Wot 4 ARTF, Kyosho Calmato (all electric) and an IC Blackhorse Speed Air.

We are also happy to advise on what models and what gear to purchase, (and from where), for those who are just starting out in the hobby.
